| Dear Customers, We will be performing a series of firmware upgrades to our primary network ring and our BGP routers during January. Please be aware that this will affect service uptime whilst initiating reboots to the routers. The work will be split into two separate parts. The first part of each maintenance window will be at-risk only whilst we tftp the new firmware onto the equipment. The second part will be flipping over of HSRP protected VLANS and OSPF linknets, and the clean closing of BGP session with servers. This will then be followed the the actual reboot of the equipment in order to run the new firmware. Each reboot should only take around 15 minutes, in the case of ring-switches they will be rebooted sequentially to minimise impact on servers. ** MAINTENANCE WINDOW 1 ** At Risk: 20/01/2010 22:00hrs - 23:59hrs GMT Outage: 21/01/2010 00:01hrs - 01:00hrs GMT ** MAINTENANCE WINDOW 2 ** At Risk: 27/01/2010 21:00hrs - 23:59hrs GMT Outage: 28/01/2010 00:01hrs - 04:30hrs GMT Should you have any queries, do feel free to launch a support ticket in the left hand corner of this message. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
